We Offer a Wide Range
of Translation Services
Translation
Transcription and translation of audio and video files in any type of formats is something we are getting asked to frequently. This can include recorded interviews for investigation or legal proceedings.
In a nutshell, transcription and translation involves our professional translators watching or listening to your recording and writing down the speech as is being spoken. Following this, our translator will turn that text into the target language as required.
It appears that the most common type of transcription and translation we come across is for legal proceedings in case someone is interviewed in his native language. However the court will require this to be translated into their target language.
How much does it cost?
As explained earlier, the transcription and translation is a longer process than just translation. To reflect this, we charge £95.00 (including VAT) per half hour of source audio or video – plus our normal translation cost.
Sign Language
We can provide you with lots of sign language interpreting services, just choose the service which best suits your needs.
As the most experienced British Sign Language (BSL) interpreters work with us so you can be assured of the quality of the interpretation from start to finish.
Interpreting
We provide two different types of interpreting services you can choose from to suit your needs
Consecutive interpreting is the most commonly requested form of interpreting as it is a convenient service to arrange and set up. A consecutive interpreter will wait until the end of speaker’s speech before starting interpretation.
Simultaneous interpreting takes a bit more to set up and is ideal for situations where an instant interpreting should be presented in different dialects. For instance you may have seen simultaneous interpreting in action such as the UN conferences, where there are many leaders from different countries who each speaks different language.
Telephone Interpreting
Millennium Translations is proud to offer professional telephone interpreting services. We believe that the telephone interpreting should be handled only by professional interpreters who can handle smooth and accurate interpretation in order to avoid any misunderstandings.
Once you’ve looked at the details of our service we believe you’ll agree that our instant telephone interpretation service can be suitably fit your purpose.
